Suntouch Design Launches New Website for Legendary Musician Rory Gallagher
San Diego, California | March 15th, 2010 – Suntouch Design LLC is pleased to announce the launch of RoryGallagher.com, an entirely new website dedicated to the legendary Irish musician Rory Gallagher. Employing the latest online technology, the new site features Rory's complete discography, including a searchable directory of songs and lyrics. Visitors to the site will be able to sample Rory’s music as well as view clips of classic performances and photos.
Daniel Gallagher, who project managed the work on behalf of his uncles estate, worked closely with Suntouch Design on the site said “It was a pleasure to work with the guys at Suntouch, the great ideas and designs they came up with and the openness to take in what we felt the Rory site should give to his fans made the experience very rewarding.”

Upon entering RoryGallagher.com visitors are greeted with ‘Walk On Hot Coals’, a cut from his 1973 album Blueprint - edited to scenes from Rory’s “Live at Rockpalast” and “Live from Montreux” DVD’s.
Within RoryGallagher.com visitors will find loads of information detailing Rory's discography and songs, videos of live performances - as well as exclusive images and news articles of the latest Rory happenings. While exploring Rory's albums, users can click on the plus (+) next to each song, adding a 30-sec clip to their own media-player playlist (at the top of the screen) or click on the Amazon or iTunes links to purchase albums.
Guitarist enthusiasts will be happy to hear the site features a complete archive of Rory’s guitar collection, more than 100 in all, including his legendary ‘battered strat’, a 1961 Fender Stratocaster (reputedly the first in Ireland) bought by Rory when he was barely a teenager.

About Rory Gallagher - Rory Gallagher (pronounced "Roar-ie Gall-a-her") was an Irish blues/rock guitarist. Born in Ballyshannon, County Donegal, Ireland on March 2, 1948, he grew up in Cork City. He is best known for his solo albums throughout the 1970's and 1980's, and for his tenure in the band Taste during the late 1960s. A multi-instrumentalist who gained a reputation as a gifted and charismatic live performer, Rory Gallagher's albums have sold in excess of 30 million copies worldwide. He died in London, England on June 14, 1995.
